Morgan Staples is the Content Team Lead at Sanctuary. Her English degree from the University of Akron combined with her love for writing has given Morgan the tools to create compelling content for our clients.
Before joining the team at Sanctuary, Morgan was working as a sales associate at a retail store, something she believes everyone should have to experience in life. Now as an intern, she helps out wherever she is needed, but spends most of her time writing copy. She is sometimes even referred to as ‘grammar girl’ because, well…let’s just say you don’t want to get caught using the wrong “your” around her.
Morgan graduated from The University of Akron in May of 2016 with a bachelor’s degree in English. She started with us at Sanctuary as an intern and has since been brought on full time as the Content Team Lead. Throughout her time as an intern Morgan has learned how to write compelling marketing copy for an array of applications, integrate blogging into overall marketing strategy for clients, and integrate business blogging with social media. Since starting with the company in April of 2015, Morgan has learned to broaden her horizons and become more outspoken and assertive.
Outside of school and work, Morgan enjoys writing creative nonfiction and short stories of which she hopes to get published one day. She also enjoys reading the poetry of Pablo Neruda and Walt Whitman, just to name a few, and she even started her own book club here at Sanctuary Marketing Group. Morgan’s other hobbies include cooking, baking, decorating, and thrifting. Most importantly, she has a huge obsession with owls, which means she can’t turn down any owl-related products and has an apartment full of owl decor. It’s kind of a problem.
Although Morgan only stands at 5’1 and is one of the quietest people in the office, she makes her presence known when it really matters, and her dedication to work and school is bigger than words.
