Matt Markiewicz is a design professional with over 12 years of experience working at marketing agencies and as a freelance designer. With a degree in Visual Communication Design, Matt’s focus is on finding the perfect balance between user experience and business value when creating new designs for clients that customers will connect with.
Matt has a true passion for design and all things visual, which stems from his dabbling in photography and Photoshop in high school. He even built his first website when he was just 15 years old! His past design work spans from friends’ side hustles to Fortune 500 companies, and hasn’t been limited to the U.S. He’s worked with clients in China, Canada, United Arab Emirates, Germany, Brazil and a few others. No matter who he’s designing for, he always takes a holistic look at the project and problems that a client is trying to solve, and then attacks the work with a clean and highly effective design.
After working in front of a computer screen all day, Matt likes to de-digitize his life and turn to all things analog—cooking, cycling, reading and traveling. He also has a big place in his heart for music, as he was a band and choir “geek” in high school, so you can often find him jamming to some tunes. Matt lives in Plain Township with his wife, Abby, and two cats, Jasper and Keira.
