CMA is a leading, international cable manufacturer of control cables, wiring harnesses and leads, and custom cable assemblies. They have an extensive library of resources available to engineers, designers, and project heads that have great SEO value, but those resources were not properly represented on the website. But before we addressed that, we needed to do some backend behind-the-scenes cleanup work to improve site speed and correct meta issues that were potentially affecting CMA’s organic ranking.
Regular monthly reporting allowed us to catch an issue with SEO and bring organic search traffic back up to where it had been previously—and still going strong today!

White papers are a great way for them to cover those common engineering issues and provide a platform for innovation and problem-solving, and they have so much valuable content that people are actively searching for. So what’s the problem then?
The problem was that these downloadable white papers were just that—downloadable and not represented properly on the site as strong conversion points and rich content. We revamped those conversion points by creating separate landing pages for each white paper with a summary of each to incorporate those highly searched for keywords.
With this conversion optimization/landing page creation work we did combined with the backend updates, we were able to bring organic search traffic back from a decline we noticed in monthly reporting.
