It’s blatantly obvious to say that trust is important. The alternative is simply distrust and nobody wants that. But building and sustaining trust can be difficult, even for the most well-intentioned people. It’s a complicated goal that can impact your team, your customers, your partners, suppliers, your culture, and even the growth and viability of your company.
In the end, the benefits of repairing and strengthening trust are critical. A recent research study found that companies that are considered to be trustworthy outperform the S&P 500 by levels as high as 30%-50%.
