For most people and businesses, relationships are at the heart of what makes them happy AND successful. As a business owner, I know firsthand how important relationships can be to your success and growth. As the old saying goes “It’s who you know” and it’s continually surprising to me how big things can come from your network of friends, partners, team members, and even your customers. It goes without saying that my relationships outside of business are critical to my own personal happiness.

But successfully building relationships in an authentic way is critical. You can’t fake it. For many, it doesn’t come naturally, even if they have the best intentions. Many people, need to continually work on it. Even if you’re genuine, it takes skill, practice, discipline, vulnerability, confidence and honesty. For most people, these things don’t always come naturally, even if you’re striving to create relationships and looking for nothing in return. So let’s take a moment to day to explore further.
